For the seventh consecutive year the Ramo srl will participate in the 24x1 hour Telethon relay race that will be held in Udine on December 1 and 2, 2018.
The solidarity marathon, now in its 20th edition, is promoted by the Italian Union for the Fight against Muscular Dystrophy, which since 1990 collects funds for scientific research: it is a unique event, designed to support the study against rare genetic diseases.
Over the years, the relay has more and more grown to include 460 teams, in the latest edition, for a total of over 12.000 runners, including agonists and amateurs. These important numbers testify to the great solidarity on the subject of scientific research that has been able to count on a support of 222.000 euros, entirely devoted to scientific research.
The race will be anticipated, on the morning of Saturday, December 1, by the 14th Telethon Giovani relay race, which in the past year has seen run 1.800 students of primary and secondary school in the territory.
The start of the official relay race is scheduled instead at 15.00 from Piazza Libertà and the itinerary, in the heart of the city, has been extended to 1.700 meters. The end of the event will be at 15.00 on Sunday and the runners’ exchanges will be made at the end of each hour.
The event will take place in all weather conditions.
Great participation and enthusiasm from colleagues and friends of the Ramo srl who have joined the initiative with a group of 48 people, covering all scheduled times and forming two autonomous teams, joined to the Studio Associato MPRD. The Ramo srl will gesture musical entertainment under the dedicated tent, where you can also taste typical products.
We proudly encourage our athletes who put themselves into play with a playful spirit in favor of research!
